Perfectly located in central Alsager, The Civic specialises in venue hire only so you can choose your own suppliers and spend your budget on what’s important to you.
We offer exclusive use of the venue for civil ceremonies, wedding breakfasts and evening receptions, with several options for hire ranging from all day to evening only. In addition to our rooms we also have a fully stocked bar, ample parking, welcoming reception area and extensive kitchen for you or caterers to use.
The Main Hall
The Main Hall is a large function room, offering a capacity of up to 200 people for a sit down wedding breakfast.
The Civic’s versatility allows for amenable room set ups to allow for large dance floor space, and alternative evening reception turnaround, with capacity for up to 360 evening guests in a less formal setting.
The civil ceremony licence that the building holds also allows couples to expand on their guest list and to host the ceremony in this stunning room.
The Lawton Suite
The Lawton Suite is a perfect addition to the Main Hall for your wedding and has multiple purposes.
Perfect for an intimate ceremony, breakout room for the kids or a buffet room with direct catering access, it is a well-equipped and stylish extra room.
Room Hire Fees
We offer several options for hire, ranging from all day to evening only. Our prices include exclusive hire of the venue, which includes our expansive Main Hall with stage, sound and lighting systems, with plenty of space for dancing, plus a separate suite for buffet or break-out area.
If you wish to party until the wee small hours, we offer an hour bar extension for £80 on Friday and Saturday nights.
