Perfectly located in central Alsager, The Civic specialises in Venue Hire only so you can choose your own suppliers and spend your budget on what’s important to you on your big day. We offer exclusive use of the venue for civil ceremonies, wedding breakfasts and evening receptions, with several options for hire ranging from all day to evening only. In addition to our rooms we also have a fully stocked bar, ample free parking, welcoming reception area and extensive kitchen for you or caterers to use.

Alsager Civic, Your Perfect Venue

The Main Hall

The Main Hall is a large function room, offering a capacity of up to 200 people for a sit down wedding breakfast.

The venues versatility also allows for amenable room set ups to allow for large dance floor space, and alternative evening reception turnaround, with capacity for up to 360 evening guests in a less formal setting complete with room.

The civil ceremony licence that the building holds, also allows couples to expand on their guest list and to host the ceremony in this stunning room.

In addition to the Main Hall there is a VIP Bar lounge attached to the room, perfect for the provision of children’s entertainment, photo booths, buffets and desserts.

The Lawton Suite

The Lawton Suite is our mid-capacity function room allowing a capacity of up to 40 people.

A lovely light and airy space perfect for couples to arrange a small and intimate ceremony in this stylish room.

The Bar Lounge

The Bar Lounge is a small additional function room. It is our smallest function room offering a capacity of up to 30 people, and a great addition to the hire of the Main Hall.

Its superb versatility offers the opportunity to utilise the space for entertaining children during your special day or provide a more intimate space to house photo booths, buffets or desserts. Alternatively it is a perfect extension to the main hall and allows for the bar to be open and create additional space.
